Artist Statement

My work uses digital photography with elements of interior and floral design to create to create imaginative scenes of queer portraiture and urban decay. Influenced by K Enagonio, Madeleine LeMieux, and Jess T. Dugan.  Using urban exploration and drag to create correlations between the neglected structures reclaimed by nature, and the queer body’s reclamation of identity, I create vibrant tableau of gender performance, celebrated in the crumbling structures of oppression.
